+ Chosen Charity (15/06/2011 - 14:20:55)
+ What's New! (10/06/2011 - 12:32:52)

My chosen charity is The Child Care Action Trust incorporating the
Step Together centre providing Conductive Education to help disabled children with cerebral palsy and other 'motor' related disorders. This is a non-profit making charity that is very close to my heart, they rely heavily on fundraising and donations which is why I have decided to sell a selection of handmade cards made by yours truly to raise money for them, I'll be adding the cards for sale soon. All money from the sale of these cards will go to the charity. Please support this worthy childrens charity.

Wow it's been a while!
I have been very busy with my newest passion which is jewellery making, you may have noticed the new section Jewellery Making on the website I am working on, I'll be adding new stock soon.
I have also added a new section where you can buy some of the jewellery I make, at the moment I have some very pretty little silver plated bracelets with coloured glass beads, they make the perfect gift or why not just treat yourself. I hope you like them!
I also sell my handmade crafts and jewellery through Folksy, a great UK website where you can find some very unique handmade gifts from cards to furniture to jewellery. There's loads to see and great to get inspiration from. It's well worth a look!
If you make handmade crafts yourself why not check it out and open up your own shop, it's very easy and a very friendly community to be involved in.
Happy Crafting

I've been very naughty and neglected my new blog, so I'm going to be good now and share with you the new stock I have added today.
I've decided to stock a range of jewellery making supplies, having recently become a fan of jewellery making myself. I've started with a few basic products and will be adding more over the next few weeks.
You can view some of my own handmade jewellery by visiting my folksy shop. http://www.folksy.com/shops/meldelcrafts

Let me introduce you to these cute little guys, they're so cute I find it hard to part with them. I made them using fimo clay and used elastic to attach the arms and legs. I've made this very short video clip to show you how they have moveable arms and legs, plus I had fun making it, my other half asked if I was "playing nicely" while photographing them....... I don't know what he means. Hee hee : D
Hello and welcome to my first blog.
I've been meaning to start this for some time now, but to be quite honnest.... where do I start???
Well lets start with a little bit about Meldel Crafts........ I started my website so I could spend more time at home with my 3 kids and also do what I love best, CRAFTS!!! I'm having so much fun running my own little business, with a real sense of achievement that I did it myself.
At the moment we sell an ever increasing range of card making and scrapbooking supplies. Having recently become a fan of jewellery making, I've decided to start selling jewellery making supplies too. So keep an eye out for the new addition to the website.
Hope you find my blog a source of information and inspiration and hope you come back soon.
Happy Crafting!
Mel x
